Our Boer Goat adventure began several years ago with a trade of our broiler hens for our first commercial Boer goats. We have since dabbled in the commercial goat industry along with other assorted sheep and poultry. We have had other breeds such as Nubian, Toggenburg, Saanen and Myotonic. We have found that the Boer Goats with their gentle nature and individual personalities are our favorites.
In 2008 we joined the American Boer Goat Association and registered our herd. We began with mostly percentages and have gradually increased our full blood numbers as we have become more experienced.
In 2010 we participated in our first ABGA Open Show.
We have met many knowledgeable and wonderful people on our goat adventure. We would like to thank them for all of their help over the years.
